Pluggable brick

Hardware and firmware are included in a pluggable brick. An economical choice for higher volumes. Fully embedded into your device, it enables you to add specific connectors and comply with protection class requirements. Possible to swap or install late in the manufacturing process. Supports all major Fieldbus, Industrial Ethernet and IIoT networks with best-in-class cybersecurity options.

Soldered-on brick

A new addition to the proven CompactCom 40 series. Designed to be soldered onto a device and optimized for automated manufacturing—making it ideal for high-volume applications. The soldered-on design reduces costs, allows you to add specific connectors, and comply with protection class requirements. Compact and cost-effective, it is perfect for smaller, less expensive devices.

2Same unit supports PROFINET, EtherCAT, Modbus TCP, POWERLINK, EtherNet/IP, and BACnet network protocols. 

3The Anybus CompactCom B40 Mini Common Ethernet (pre-loaded) version comes with the following networks pre-loaded in the file system: PROFINET IRT, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, and Modbus TCP. If implemented by the host application, this allows the end user to select the network protocol during late-stage configuration.

4Designed for advanced cybersecurity, featuring hardware-accelerated encryption, password protection, and secure protocols such as WebDAV. This version also supports OPC UA and MQTT.
