The Universal InfraRed (IR)-BACnet MS/TP device allows complete and natural integration of any air conditioner unit equipped with an infrared receiver into BACnet MS/TP networks. The device enables BACnet communication via polling or subscription requests (COV), making the indoor unit available through independent BACnet objects.
BACnet/IP (via Ethernet) or BACnet MS/TP (via EIA-485) connection options are supported.
Air conditioning unit properties and functionalities are abstracted into fixed BACnet Objects.
A room temperature sensor and a humidity sensor are built into the interface.
An auto-learn function is available to set the IR remote controller configuration automatically.
The AC unit can simultaneously be controlled via BACnet MS/TP and its own remote controller.
