The Universal InfraRed (IR)-KNX device allows total integration of any air conditioner unit (with an IR receiver) into KNX systems. Thanks to the device's capability of emitting and receiving infrared signals, the AC unit can be controlled simultaneously by KNX and the IR remote. Two binary inputs are available (for presence sensor/window contact).
The interface is configured using the ETS standard configuration tool software.
All the required DPT objects to be compatible with all KNX thermostats in the market are available.
Timeout, open window, or occupancy energy-saving functions are available to reduce energy costs.
The interface has an easy-to-configure built-in room temperature sensor and two binary inputs.
Up to five scenes can be saved and executed from KNX.
The AC unit can be simultaneously controlled by the manufacturer's remote controller and KNX.
An auto-learn function is available to set the IR remote controller configuration automatically.
